The real problem
It isn't tiredness. It's lost volume.
More sleep does not change it, and concealer only sits on top of it. Here is what is actually happening under the surface.
-
01
Your face sits on a cushion of fat and collagen.
Cheeks, under-eyes, the area around your mouth. What reads as fresh is really fullness — light lands evenly, so skin looks smooth and awake.
-
02
From your late twenties, that cushion quietly thins.
Collagen declines a little every year. Nothing dramatic day to day. Then one photo in bad lighting, and suddenly you see it.
-
03
Hollows catch shadows. Shadows read as exhaustion.
As under-eyes and smile lines lose fullness, light stops landing evenly. Those shadows are what people are reading when they say you look tired.
-
04
Hydration works on the surface. Fullness sits underneath it.
That is why a good moisturiser feels lovely and changes nothing about the hollows. It was never a dryness problem.
Inside the formula
What is inside, and why it is there.
Eighteen ingredients, no water, no fragrance and no synthetic dyes. A waterless balm needs no preservative system, which leaves room for the actives that earn their place.

Volufiline the lead active
A French complex built around Anemarrhena asphodeloides root extract. It was developed for one job only: the appearance of fullness. Not hydration, not brightening — volume. It is oil-soluble, which is exactly why this formula is built without water.

Polynucleotides
Sodium DNA. Long-chain nucleotides that skincare uses to support skin quality and firmness over time.

Peptide Duo
Palmitoyl tripeptide-1 and tetrapeptide-7 together — the pairing peptide formulas use for firmness and the look of fine lines.

Caffeine
Drains the fluid that gathers under the eyes overnight. It is why hollows read deeper first thing in the morning.

Retinol
The one active with decades of evidence behind it for skin texture and fine lines. Evening use only, built up slowly.
The 60-second ritual
Twist. Glide. Press it in.
A waterless balm stick carrying Volufiline, polynucleotides, peptides and caffeine. One step, one minute, in the evening — over hollows, smile lines, the 11s and neck.

Twist & Reveal
Turn the base until the solid balm rises. Sealed until the moment you use it, so nothing oxidises in the tube.

Glide & Press
Glide it straight onto clean, dry skin. The balm melts on contact, so no rubbing or dragging — press it in with your fingertips until it disappears.

Leave It In
Last step of your evening routine. It sinks in matte, so there is no greasy film, nothing to wash off and nothing to pill.
The difference
A balm, not a cream. The difference is water.
Almost every eye product is water first. That one decision shapes what a formula can carry, what it needs to stay stable, and how much of it is left by morning.

Your timeline
What changes, and when
Volume is not an overnight change. Here is an honest week by week of what to expect, including the part most brands leave out.
DAY 1 / FIRST EVENING
It Disappears Into Skin
The balm melts on contact and sinks in matte. Tonight is about how it feels and how the surface looks — not about volume yet.
- Skin feels cushioned, never greasy
- Surface looks smoother straight away
- Nothing to wash off in the morning
- Morning puffiness looks reduced
- The area feels softer to the touch
- A little dryness at first is normal
WEEK 1 / SETTLING IN
Your Skin Settles In
Two or three evenings this week, no more. Light dryness or flaking is retinol doing what retinol does. Drop back a night and carry on.
WEEKS 2-4 / THE TURN
Texture Starts To Change
Fine lines look softer and tone looks more even. This is the retinol and the peptides working on the upper layers, ahead of anything else.
- Fine lines look softer
- Skin tone looks more even
- Concealer sits better, if you still use it
- Hollows catch less shadow
- Smile lines look shallower
- Skin looks fuller, not shinier
WEEKS 4-6 / FULLNESS
The Volume Story Lands
The change in how full the area looks builds slowly, because it depends on your skin renewing itself. Four to six weeks of consistent evenings is the fair test.
What people said about the original formula
My cheeks have volume again
Review of the original formula
I'm 55 and my face had been deflating for years. Hollows under my eyes, flat cheeks, deep smile lines. I used this on my cheeks, under-eyes and neck every morning and night for 10 days. My skin just looks fuller. My daughter thought I'd had something done. I told her it was a $39 pink balm.

Cheekbones I forgot I had
Review of the original formula
At 52 my cheekbones had flattened out. Four weeks of pressing this balm into my cheeks, the 11s, and along my smile lines — and the structure is back. My foundation sits better, my whole face looks lifted. Don't skip the neck — biggest change was there.

Even my rosacea is calmer
Review of the original formula
I have rosacea and was nervous to try anything with actives. The balm is fragrance-light, no alcohol, no sting. My smile lines are visibly softer after 5 weeks and my redness has actually calmed down. The pink color comes from the actives, not synthetic dye — that mattered to me.

What exactly is the Under Eye Volume Balm?
It is a solid balm in stick form for the areas that lose fullness first: under the eyes, the smile lines, the 11s between the brows and the neck. Most eye products are water-based and work on the surface. This one is anhydrous, which means it contains no water at all. That lets it carry a higher load of oil-soluble actives and melt into skin on contact instead of sitting on top of it.
How do I use it?
Twist the base until the balm rises. Glide it straight onto clean, dry skin, then press it in with your fingertips until it disappears. No rubbing or dragging - the warmth of your fingers is enough. Use it in the evening as the last step of your routine.
How often should I use it?
Because the formula contains retinol, build up slowly rather than starting daily. Use it two to three evenings in your first week, every other evening in your second, and move to nightly once your skin stays comfortable. If you notice tightness or flaking, drop back a step for a few days. Going slowly gets you further than pushing through.
When will I see a difference?
Hydration and a smoother, softer look are immediate - that is the balm base doing its work. The change in how full the area looks is a slower process that builds over weeks of consistent use, because it depends on your skin renewing itself rather than on anything sitting on the surface. Give it a full cycle of four to six weeks before you judge it.
Can I really use it under my eyes?
Yes, on the orbital bone - the ridge you can feel under your eye - and outwards towards your temple. Do not apply it to your eyelid or along the lash line, and keep it out of your eyes. The formula contains retinol, and the skin under your eyes is the thinnest on your face, so start with two evenings a week there even if you use it more often elsewhere.
Can I wear it under makeup?
We recommend using it in the evening, because retinol makes skin more sensitive to sunlight and is best applied at night. If you do want to use it in the morning, let it absorb fully before anything goes on top, and always finish with SPF.
Is it safe if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
No. This formula contains retinol, a form of vitamin A, and retinoids are not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Please put it aside until afterwards, and talk to your doctor or midwife if you are unsure about anything in your routine.
I have sensitive skin. Will this be too much?
The formula is fragrance-free, free of synthetic dyes and free of essential oils, which removes the most common causes of reactions. Retinol itself can still cause redness, tightness or light flaking in the first weeks, especially if it is new to you. Patch test on your inner arm for 24 hours before your first use, start at twice a week, and stop if irritation does not settle.
What is actually in it?
Hydrogenated polyisobutylene, synthetic wax, mineral oil, squalane, pentaerythrityl hexahydroxystearate, dimethicone, Anemarrhena asphodeloides root extract, phosphatidylcholine, soluble collagen, caffeine, tocopherol (vitamin E), sodium hyaluronate, sodium DNA, elastin, nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, palmitoyl tripeptide-1, palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7, retinol. No fragrance, no synthetic dyes, no essential oils. Because the formula is waterless, it needs no preservative system.
